Sityodtong Mark DellaGrotte Dragon T-Shirt
This shirt is Ranger Up’s ode to Sityodtong and its owner, Kru (Master) Mark DellaGrotte. DellaGrotte, a former professional Thai Kickboxer is widely regarded as the best striking coach in the sport of mixed martial arts, coaching UFC fighters Kenny Florian, Stephan Bonnar, Marcus Davis, Jorge Rivera and Patrick Côté.
Ranger Up’s relationship with DellaGrotte began when we began sponsoring Jorge Rivera, a former Army Cavalry Scout. In the days preceding the fight, we became increasingly impressed with Mark and learned that he gave fighting clinics, for free and without media fanfare, to soldiers preparing to head to combat and that he was a staunch supporter of the military.
In a spirited night out after coaching Rivera to an emotional victory, Dellagrotte noted that we had some pretty awesome shirts on and that he wished someone would come up with one for his gym, Sityodtong. We said we’d do it. He didn’t believe us. When we surprised him with this shirt, he was genuinely touched and told us he loved it and wanted to use the design to raise money for the troops returning home from the war on terror.
As such, 10% of all purchases of this limited edition shirt will be donated to Soldier’s Angels to support our returning troops.
