The Spartans.

They were the most feared warriors of their time, not simply because each one of them was twice the warrior of those who would face them, but because as a team - as a phalanx - they were unparalleled.

To stand in front of a Spartan on the battlefield was almost certain death - to stand in front of the Spartan Phalanx was suicide.

The front of the shirt shows the Spartan Phalanx preparing for battle. The back shows King Leonidas's famous response to the Persian Army at the Battle of Thermopylae when the Persians demanded the Spartans lay down their arms. He simply replied, "Molon Labe", which translates to "Come and take them".
